About the Role
The Manufacturing Program Analyst will support Manufacturing program planning, performance tracking, and execution for manufacturing work that is managed under a full Earned Value Management System (EVMS). This is an entry- to early-career role ideal for candidates who want to develop expertise in EVM, cost and schedule forecasting, control account management, and manufacturing operations in a defense and aerospace manufacturing environment. The role partners closely with Finance Analysts, Program Schedulers, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as accountable manager for assigned Manufacturing Control Accounts (CAs); maintain scope, time-phased budgets, and schedules aligned with the IMS and WBS.
- Authorize work to Manufacturing via Work Packages and Planning Packages consistent with program guidelines.
- Review monthly cost and schedule metrics, interpret variances and performance indices, and translate results into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Develop Corrective Action Plans to address cost or schedule variances and monitor their effectiveness.
- Lead development and monthly maintenance of Estimates to Complete (ETCs) and Bases of Estimate (BOEs) for Manufacturing CAs, coordinating directly with operations and production leads.
- Coordinate with Finance Analysts to reconcile ETCs and ensure accurate loading in EVMS toolsets.
- Manage material budgets within assigned CAs, perform material criticality analysis, and collaborate with Supply Chain to monitor POs and incoming material.
- Serve as the Manufacturing representative in the Program Risk Register; identify manufacturing risks, develop mitigation actions with owners and due dates, and report progress at program risk reviews and IBRs.
- Support Program Management Reviews (PMRs), DCMA EVMS surveillance activities, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and other program-level reviews as required.
- Ensure scope changes are captured through Baseline Change Control procedures and document how manufacturing performance affects contract incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 0–4 years of professional experience; internships, co-ops, or project-based manufacturing/program management experience considered.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a structured team environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical and financial information to varied audiences.
- Comfort working with data: reading reports, identifying trends, and asking targeted questions.
- Collaborative team player who builds productive cross-functional relationships.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts through coursework, self-study, or prior experience.
- Exposure to DoD programs, defense contracting, or government acquisition processes.
- Experience with scheduling/planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or advanced Excel data analysis.
- Understanding of manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain processes.
- Project Management credentials such as PMP or CAPM, or relevant coursework.
- Active DoD Secret clearance is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $61,400 - $91,200 per year (provided in compliance with local pay transparency laws).

Location & Work Authorization
- Primary location: Wilmington, MA (onsite work on program manufacturing activities is expected).
