Role Summary

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Manufacturing Order Manager to join the Order Management team supporting the PACS facility in Eagle Rock, NC. In this individual-contributor role you will support customer orders from acceptance through production/repair, shipment, invoicing readiness, and closure. You will work with cross-functional partners (engineering, procurement, production, quality, logistics, repair operations, and finance), learn SAP workflows, and use standard reports and routines to keep order data accurate and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

  • Support assigned customer orders from acceptance and planning through production/repair, shipment, invoicing readiness, and closure.
  • Enter and maintain accurate sales-order, production-order, repair, requirement, and delivery information in SAP and related systems.
  • Track order milestones, material availability, documentation, testing, quality status, and shipment readiness using standard reports and team routines.
  • Coordinate routine status updates with engineering, material planning, production, testing, quality, logistics, repair operations, and finance.
  • Support SIPANEL project orders and SIPROTEC 5 production and return-and-repair orders following established processes.
  • Identify missing information, delivery risks, or data issues and escalate promptly with clear facts and documented follow-up.
  • Prepare backlog, past-due, material-readiness, schedule, repair-turnaround, and delivery-status updates for operating reviews.
  • Communicate order changes and action items clearly, keep records current, and follow through on assigned commitments.
  • Learn PACS products, SAP workflows, factory processes, and standard work; contribute ideas that improve data accuracy and handoffs.

What We’re Looking For

Basic qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years relevant experience (employment, internship, co-op, military service, academic projects, or comparable practical work).
  • Ability to organize information, follow defined processes, manage multiple priorities, and escalate when support is needed.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas) and experience maintaining accurate data.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work on-site in Eagle Rock, NC; schedule flexibility may be required for production or critical customer commitments.

Preferred qualifications

  • Internship, co-op, project, or early-career experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, customer operations, or production control.
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system for orders, materials, schedules, inventory, or delivery-status transactions.
  • Experience working with reports, dashboards, or structured data to track actions and deadlines.
  • Coursework or practical experience in manufacturing systems, planning, inventory, logistics, or continuous improvement.
  • Interest in engineered electrical equipment, electronic-device production, or return-and-repair operations.
