What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level, hands-on role in the Processing department. You will operate and support equipment used to manufacture liquid nutrition products and help maintain production quality, safety, and compliance.

  • Responsible for manufacturing liquid adult, pediatric, and medical nutritional products
  • Lift and physically handle raw ingredients during weighing, staging, and manufacturing
  • Operate scales, portable pumps, container rinsers, homogenizers, dry blending equipment, and other processing machinery
  • Prepare, operate, monitor, and document bulk slurries for blending operations and controlled-weigh batch ingredients
  • Operate and document computer-controlled Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems and other sanitation processes
  • Perform hand cleaning, COP/CIP tasks, heat-treatment system operations, and routine housekeeping to meet sanitation standards
  • Receive and unload bulk raw ingredients and CIP chemicals; stage materials and move ingredients using powered industrial equipment
  • Interact with integrated computer systems and complete manufacturing step documentation and work orders
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate more complex breakdowns to maintenance
  • Follow and support compliance with FDA, OSHA, and internal safety and quality procedures

Who We’re Looking For

Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of food or nutrition product manufacturing experience
  • Mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail
  • Experience with CIP systems, batching, or powered industrial forklifts is a plus

Location & Shift

  • Location: Sturgis, MI (Plant)
  • Shift: 3rd shift (overnight) — schedules and specific start times will be provided during onboarding

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $19.05 – $38.15 per hour (range may vary by location)
