Position Summary
Confidential Client is seeking motivated early-career and experienced candidates for Associate Manufacturing Engineer (Level 1) and Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2) roles in North Crossroads, MS. Both roles support aerospace-focused manufacturing operations on a D-shift 3x12 schedule (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (Secret) and Program Special Access are required.
What You’ll Do
Confidential Client’s manufacturing engineering team designs, implements, and optimizes factory processes and layouts to deliver high-quality aerospace products. Typical responsibilities include:
- Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining, processing and material handling
- Arrange machine and workcell layouts to maximize productivity and flow
- Specify sequence of operations and fabrication procedures for tooling and equipment
- Adapt machine or equipment designs to production conditions and incorporate inspection/test requirements into production plans
- Inspect machinery, equipment and tools; diagnose issues and recommend corrective actions to ensure product quality
- Develop processes suitable for statistical process control (SPC) and other quality techniques
- Provide manufacturing guidance to design engineering to improve producibility and reduce cost
- Ensure processes, procedures and documentation comply with applicable regulations and standards
Shift & Travel
- Schedule: D-shift, 3x12 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday — 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Travel: Approximately 10% (per source)
- Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available
Who Should Apply / Basic Qualifications
Candidates must meet the specific requirements for the level they apply to:
Associate Manufacturing Engineer (T01)
- Completing or completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027
- Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
- U.S. citizenship required; able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (Secret) and Program Special Access
Manufacturing Engineer (T02)
- Completing or completed a Master’s degree by August 2027 OR completed Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of engineering experience
- Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
- U.S. citizenship required; able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (Secret) and Program Special Access

Preferred Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher (where applicable)
- Prior internship/co-op or relevant work experience in manufacturing or aerospace
- Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Familiarity with process development, tooling, SPC, and continuous improvement methods
Compensation
Pay ranges provided by the client (as listed in the source):
- Associate Manufacturing Engineer: $56,700 - $85,100 per year
- Manufacturing Engineer: $68,200 - $102,400 per year
