Position Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I in Wakulla Springs, FL. This entry-level engineering role supports production planning, process improvement, and manufacturing layout for defense-oriented manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes practical application of engineering fundamentals, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities.
- Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and equipment layout for maximum efficiency.
- Identify parts, tools, equipment, and processes required to meet production goals and product specifications.
- Estimate production times, staffing needs, and costs to support management decisions.
- Communicate production capabilities and schedules to facilitate manufacturing operations.
- Work with vendors to specify products, arrange equipment and material purchases, and manage parts procurement.
- Evaluate products against specifications and quality standards and recommend improvements.
- Support problem-solving and continuous improvement activities on the production floor.

Physical & Travel Requirements
