Position overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer (Level 1) to support production and continuous improvement activities at its Denton, TX facility. This role contributes to developing and improving manufacturing processes, supporting production teams with technical troubleshooting, and enabling new product introductions in an aerospace electrical systems environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, methods, and production documentation to support efficient, repeatable production.
- Provide technical support to production teams to diagnose and resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions for manufacturability.
- Support the introduction of new products and processes into production; participate in process validation and ramp-up activities.
- Analyze production performance metrics and recommend improvements to safety, quality, cost, and throughput.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to implement process changes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / CI) and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Entry-level manufacturing engineering experience preferred (internship, coop, or similar experience acceptable).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, problem-solving methods, and continuous improvement principles.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Preferred / Helpful Skills
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in production environments or familiarity with assembly, wiring, or electrical systems manufacturing.
