What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for an entry-to-mid-level Manufacturing Engineer to provide hands-on engineering support to an on-site manufacturing team. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing and help resolve shop-floor technical issues
• Create and maintain drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical
• Support design reviews, test planning, and manufacturability improvements
• Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) within the ERP system
• Convert legacy paper and 2D drawings into accurate 3D models and documentation
• Maintain drawing revisions and controlled engineering documentation
• Interpret customer specifications and translate requirements into actionable engineering and manufacturing information
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to solve problems and improve processes
• Identify opportunities to improve product designs, manufacturability, and engineering processes

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical, or comparable CAD systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and technical documentation
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with both engineering and manufacturing teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn the client’s ERP and engineering systems

Experience That’s a Plus

• 2–4 years of engineering, drafting, or manufacturing experience — recent graduates with relevant internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with ANSI Y14.2, Y14.3, and Y14.5 drawing standards
• Exposure to ASTM, AISI, NQA-1, 10 CFR Appendix B, or 49 CFR packaging requirements
• Experience with ERP-based BOMs, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives
• Electrical drafting experience
