What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer role supporting a confidential client’s plant operations in Creedmoor, NC. You will work under guidance from more experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to learn, apply, and improve manufacturing and product design processes.

  • Learn the client’s product lines, engineering systems, processes, and quality rules.

  • Apply fundamental engineering concepts and prudent engineering judgment to support product development and manufacturing.

  • Participate in cross-functional design, manufacturing, testing, and customer-support activities.

  • Support Operations, Sales, and Service functions; interface directly with suppliers and customers as needed.

  • Use Lean principles to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in products and processes.

  • Participate on engineering projects of varying size and scope.

  • Rotate through assigned departments as needed to grow skills and experience.

  • Communicate technical specifications, product design, and operation details to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Travel up to 25% for supplier/customer visits, field support, or training (may include short-notice travel and flights).

  • Estimated salary: $39,552 per year (estimated)


Qualifications

  • ABET/EAC-accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required (Master’s acceptable).
  • EIT registration or ability to obtain EIT registration required.
  • Current valid driver’s license.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with team members and independently when required.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Customer-service mindset and a demonstrated record of responsibility.
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
