What You’ll Do

This Manufacturing Engineer role supports manufacturing and distribution operations to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput. Core responsibilities include:

• Support manufacturing and distribution operations with a focus on process improvements and quality.
• Conduct time studies and work-measurement analyses for incentive pay systems (e.g., CIPP).
• Develop and refine manufacturing methods, tooling, and tool design to improve cycle time and reliability.
• Provide shop-floor problem solving and hands-on support (expect ~60% time on feet).
• Participate in preventative maintenance and facilities management initiatives.
• Document processes and procedures via clear technical writing to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze production data and prepare reports using Microsoft Office and similar tools.
• Work flexible hours as needed to support operations.

What We’re Looking For

Candidates who will thrive in this role typically have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• ~2 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred; recent graduates with relevant internships or strong academic experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience conducting time studies, work measurement, and incentive-pay systems.
• Hands-on shop-floor experience with manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality improvement.
• Strong technical writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally and be mobile across the manufacturing floor.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $35.81 - $41.89 per hour (hourly, non-exempt). Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours over 40/week as required by federal, state, or local law.
• Full-time employees may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA options, PTO (example: 10 paid days off), bereavement leave, 401(k) with match, life & disability insurance, and other voluntary plans. Specific benefits and eligibility are determined by the Confidential Client and may vary by location and role.
• Final offer will be based on relevant skills, experience, and education within the posted pay range.

Work Environment & Additional Details

• Location: This position is based in Blackhawk Village, IA (on-site).
• Physical / schedule notes: Approximately 60% shop-floor time; occasional lifting up to 10 lbs; flexible scheduling to support operations.
• This role is full-time.
