What You’ll Do
This early-career Manufacturing Engineer Associate will support production for our client’s missile/defense program on first shift. Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and deliver complete technical data packages for fabrication and assembly
- Produce design documentation using CAD tools (CREO, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) in accordance with company standards
- Provide engineering support to the production floor to troubleshoot and resolve integration and assembly issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, supply chain) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Drive process improvements to increase reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing operations
- Assist in developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems, including fixture, machine, and tooling design
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college
- Entry-level understanding of hand tools and basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Demonstrated basic problem-solving ability in engineering or manufacturing contexts
- Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, SolidWorks, or similar CAD/modeling software
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance (company-sponsored interim Secret required to start)
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems commonly used in manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with machine and tooling mechanical design
- Understanding of general manufacturing and integration processes
- Knowledge of engineering materials and fabrication methods
- Ability to identify and solve complex production issues and implement robust countermeasures
Security & Work Location
- This role is located in Camden, AR and requires access to a facility with special security requirements.
- U.S. citizenship is required. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; a company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Pay & Benefits
- Full-Time Salary Range: $52,400 — $97,400 per year (range provided by our client)
