What You’ll Do

You will serve as a Manufacturing Engineer on first shift supporting production and continuous improvement efforts. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Develop tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and deliver complete technical data packages for fabrication and assembly.
  • Create and maintain design documentation in accordance with company standards using CAD tools (CREO, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Provide day-to-day engineering support to the production floor; troubleshoot issues, apply root-cause problem solving, and implement corrective actions to meet production rate and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering) to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes, fixtures, and systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Participate in design reviews, process validation, and production introductions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Entry-level understanding of common hand tools and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Demonstrated basic problem-solving ability and ability to work in team environments.
  • Proficiency or experience with CAD/modeling software such as AutoCAD, CREO, or SolidWorks.
  • Legal authorization requirement: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a government Secret security clearance. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance will be required to start.

Preferred / Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with machine and tooling mechanical design.
  • Familiarity with general manufacturing and integration processes.
  • Understanding of engineering materials and manufacturing methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex manufacturing issues.

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-Time Salary Range: $63,400 – $117,800 per year (range provided by the confidential client; actual offer will reflect experience, location, and other factors).
