Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing test and production activities at an onsite facility in Bellevue, IA. This Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Bellevue IA role focuses on troubleshooting production issues, supporting test plan execution, and applying LEAN/continuous-improvement thinking to improve yields and reduce defects.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical interpretation of drawings and specifications with guidance from senior engineers
  • Assist in identifying and addressing design tolerance issues alongside design and production teams
  • Support development and execution of test plans and evaluate test equipment designs
  • Gather and analyze data to support capacity planning (staffing and equipment)
  • Help reduce test defects, improve yields, and participate in root-cause investigations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM major completed by start date
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles (coursework, projects, or on-the-job experience acceptable)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen — U.S. citizenship is required for this role due to program/contract access restrictions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis or similar problem-solving methodologies
  • Exposure to manufacturing test equipment, capacity planning, or production process improvement

Compensation & Employment Type

  • Employment type: FULL_TIME (onsite)
  • Salary range (good-faith estimate): $57,200 — $108,800 per year
  • This role is classified as onsite; occasional in-person interview steps at a local office may be required
