Overview
Confidential Client is hiring Manufacturing Associate IV / V focused on small‑scale downstream purification. This role operates in a cGMP biomanufacturing environment supporting purification activities such as column chromatography, viral filtration, ultrafiltration, and bulk dispensing. Teams work 12‑hour shifts on a 2‑2‑3 rotation (days).
Shift Details
- Days schedule following a 2‑2‑3 calendar (typically 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM local time)
- Internal rotating schedule (Red Days)
What You’ll Do
- Execute daily manufacturing and purification activities according to cGMP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Operate processing equipment and follow validation protocols
- Document and record cGMP data, including deviations, in batch records and equipment logbooks
- Support in‑process sampling and basic sample analysis (pH, conductivity, protein concentration, osmolarity)
- Assist with bulk dispensing of drug substance and handling single‑use consumables
- Maintain cleanroom and aseptic practices; keep areas audit‑ready
- Lead and participate in training and continuous improvement activities; mentor less‑experienced team members

Required Skills & Qualifications

Manufacturing Associate IV — $31.25 - $40.87 per hour
- Education / experience (one of):
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) + ~2 years direct experience, OR
- BioWorks certificate/Associate degree (STEM preferred) + ~2.5 years direct experience, OR
- High school diploma/GED + ~3 years direct experience
- Previous cGMP manufacturing experience
- Strong adherence to SOPs and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Experience in aseptic / cleanroom environments
- Familiarity with process automation/software (e.g., DeltaV, LIMS)
- Pipetting and basic lab technique experience preferred
- Exposure to single‑use consumables preferred
Manufacturing Associate V — $33.17 - $43.27 per hour
- Education / experience (one of):
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) + ~4 years direct experience, OR
- BioWorks certificate/Associate degree (STEM preferred) + ~4.5 years direct experience, OR
- High school diploma/GED + ~5 years direct experience
- All IV requirements plus demonstrated leadership, deeper process knowledge, and broader troubleshooting experience
Additional Information
- The base compensation range for this role is: $31.25 - $43.27 per hour. Final pay is determined by relevant skills, experience, and internal equity.
