Responsibilities

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Associate I to support assembly and packaging operations in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Execute routine unit operations in assembly and packaging related to drug product manufacturing.
• Assist Senior and Master Associates with assembly, packaging and visual inspection/filling operations.
• Support setup and changeover of automated autoinjector assembly machines, pre-filled syringe machines, and semi-automated tabletop equipment (gather tools, parts, documents).
• Retrieve and move components, products, and equipment within production and CNC areas.
• Assist with minor equipment repairs/adjustments and troubleshooting; escalate mechanical or component issues as needed.
• Complete required documentation in batch records, logbooks, and SOP attachments; follow controlled documents and verify equipment calibration.
• Maintain production areas to 5S standards and perform room cleaning and waste disposal according to safety and SOP requirements.
• Communicate hand-offs during shift change and escalate safety concerns.

Schedule & Compensation

• Primary shift: 3rd Shift — Sun–Thu, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM (15% shift differential applies starting day one).
• Training: First month of training scheduled on 2nd Shift — Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.
• Employment type: Contract (with possible full-time engagement per source).
• Estimated pay: $37,771 per year (estimated). Actual pay and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process and comply with applicable California pay-transparency requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 1 year work experience in a GMP-regulated industry preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or biotechnology vocational training, is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in small teams.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, conversions).
• Strong attention to detail; ability to read and follow written instructions and SOPs.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable learning basic computer operations (MS Office, Outlook, other software).
• Experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical manufacturing strongly preferred.

• Frequent standing and walking; moderate physical activity expected.
• Work performed in a manufacturing environment that may include some disagreeable conditions typical of production settings.
• Position requires concentration and the ability to follow detailed procedures; errors can cause delays or added cost.
