What You’ll Do

This Manufacturing Associate role supports hands-on manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial medical devices in a regulated environment. You will follow detailed blueprints, SOPs, and batch record requirements to produce high-quality product while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

• Operate production equipment and perform assembly tasks according to established procedures.
• Assemble medical device components to meet strict dimensional and tolerance requirements.
• Follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Measure and prepare chemical solutions per safety and quality standards.
• Prepare assembly tooling and equipment, and perform routine cleaning and sterilization.
• Complete weekly and daily cleaning of production areas and equipment.
• Record production activities in batch records and forms with clear, legible entries.
• Monitor process and equipment; report deviations, inconsistencies, or quality issues promptly.
• Handle very small parts requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
• Apply safety procedures when working with chemicals, equipment, and small components.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Ask questions, escalate concerns, and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing or laboratory experience in a regulated, scientific, or medical device environment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs and document work in batch records.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict specifications and tolerances.
• Fine motor skills and manual dexterity for small-part assembly.
• Familiarity with aseptic technique and basic laboratory practices preferred.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Troubleshooting ability to identify and escalate process, material, or equipment issues.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field preferred but not required.
• Experience from internships, academic research, or capstone projects is valued.

Work Environment & Culture

This is a fully onsite role in a collaborative R&D laboratory and manufacturing environment focused on medical device development. Team members work closely with engineers and scientists on prototype assembly, testing, process transfers, and continuous improvement. The culture is hands-on and supportive, with opportunities for skill growth and leadership in a small-company setting.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hr (range reflects factors such as experience and qualifications).
