Overview

This Manager Trainee role is an on-your-feet sales and operations position supporting rental location performance, client accounts, and daily rental operations at a satellite location or airport. The right candidate builds durable client relationships, delivers excellent customer service, and meets sales and operational targets while learning inside a leadership development program.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manager Trainees start on salary with bonus potential from day one and receive mentorship for roughly 4–6 months. Under supervision, you will learn and execute the full range of location management activities, including sales, customer service, and operational responsibilities. Hours require flexibility across the location’s operating schedule.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong customer service background
• Sales experience and a results-oriented mindset
• Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Clean driving record in the last 3 years (some exceptions possible)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Key Job Duties

• Assist managers with overall rental agency operations
• Oversee and ensure proper function of operational departments
• Monitor fleet and product flow to match customer needs and reservations
• Operate counter agent systems: open/close rental contracts, modify contracts, print/update manifests
• Maintain daily inventory (physical and computerized)
• Promote and sell coverage and upgrades (insurance, GPS, vehicle upgrades, etc.)
• Perform opening/closing procedures and uphold security measures
• Handle office duties: phones, supplies, photocopying, routine inquiries
• Prepare reports and document daily activities
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues (charges, damages, directions)
• Support team environment by assisting other agents and locations as needed
• Coach, train, supervise, and motivate team members
