What You’ll Do

This Manager Trainee role is a hands-on sales and operations position supporting a Confidential Client in the Sales industry. You will learn the day-to-day of running a rental location and be trained to manage client relationships, location performance, and rental operations. Typical activities include:

• Work alongside experienced managers under formal mentorship (typical training period: 4–6 months)
• Support client relations, lead upsell/sales conversations (insurance, upgrades, GPS, etc.)
• Oversee reservation and fleet flow to meet customer needs
• Operate the counter system (open/close contracts, modify reservations, print manifests)
• Perform opening/closing procedures and basic security/safeguarding tasks
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing or damage questions professionally
• Maintain daily inventory records (physical and computerized)
• Perform general office tasks: answering phones, ordering supplies, basic reporting
• Coach, train, and motivate team members; support other locations as needed

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Proven customer service experience
• Sales experience or demonstrated selling ability
• Prior leadership/supervisory experience preferred
• Clean driving record in the last 3 years (with some exceptions)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Flexible availability to cover operational hours (managers typically average ~45 hrs/week)

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated total compensation (site-estimate): $66,286 per year (estimated)
• Salary with bonus potential from day one — bonuses and profit-sharing are a meaningful portion of total pay
