What You’ll Do
Confidential Client’s Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level development program that prepares you for a Store Management role within 18–24 months. You will complete a structured 8-week training and then transition into a management-development assignment working alongside store leadership to learn operations, sales, finance, merchandising, and customer relationship management.
Typical schedule: ~44 hours/week; may include evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete the program curriculum and apply learnings on the sales floor
- Support store leadership to grow revenue and optimize profitability
- Build and maintain strong customer and contractor relationships
- Learn and apply inventory, merchandising, and visual standards
- Assist with store administration and accurate recordkeeping
- Support hiring, training, development, and performance management of store staff
- Help ensure store safety, loss prevention, and compliance with policies
- Partner with the Store Manager on outside sales calls to increase market share
- Resolve customer and employee issues with a focus on service and retention
Minimum Requirements
- Age 18 or older
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree by the program start date
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year in retail, sales, or customer service
- 1+ year in leadership or supervising roles
- Experience in team-oriented settings (work, extracurriculars, military)
- Experience selling paint or related products (helpful but not required)
- Familiarity with timekeeping and CRM systems
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
- Bilingual ability (Spanish a plus)
Compensation & Schedule
Estimated pay (provided by source): $105,276 per year — estimated. Exact compensation depends on experience, education, and other factors. Typical schedule is approximately 44 hours per week and may include evenings and weekends.
