Overview
Confidential Client is hiring for an accelerated, entry-level Management & Sales Training Program in Saint Louis, MO. This structured development program is designed to prepare participants for a Store Management role within 18–24 months, with initial classroom and on-the-job training followed by progressive leadership and outside-sales responsibilities.
Typical schedule: 44 hours per week (may include evenings and weekends).
What You’ll Do
- Complete the training curriculum consistent with the established program
- Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Build and maintain product knowledge to provide effective customer recommendations
- Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Complete store administrative duties and support store operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety, loss prevention, and security
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
- Respond to and resolve customer and employee concerns
- Partner with store leadership to make outside sales calls and grow market share with large commercial customers (painting contractors, purchasing agents, manufacturers, etc.)

Estimated compensation (from job source): $105,674 per year (estimated).
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Must hold at least a bachelor’s degree by the start of the development program
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves/floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- Leadership or supervisory experience (paid, volunteer, or extracurricular)
- Experience in team-based settings (work, school, military, etc.)
- Experience selling paint or paint-related products (helpful, not required)
- Familiarity with timekeeping or CRM systems
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
- Bilingual ability or proficiency in Spanish is a plus
