Position Details
This accelerated, entry-level Management & Sales Training Program prepares candidates for store management responsibilities in 18–24 months. The typical schedule is 44 hours per week and may include evenings and weekends. Successful completion of the initial 8-week training commonly leads to an Assistant Store Manager role. You will support Confidential Client’s store operations, develop customer relationships, and grow market share by selling to large commercial customers.
What You’ll Do
- Complete formal training and development milestones within the program
- Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
- Deliver a high level of customer service to retail and wholesale customers
- Build and maintain product knowledge to make effective recommendations
- Assist with store administration, merchandising, and visual standards
- Support employee training, development, and performance management
- Partner with store leadership to make outside sales calls and expand market share
- Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship for employment now or in the future
- Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Must have a bachelor’s degree by the start of the program
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
Preferred qualifications:
- At least one (1) year experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- Experience in leadership or supervising others
- Prior team-oriented experience (work, extracurriculars, or military service)
- Experience selling paint or related products is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM or timekeeping systems
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
- Bilingual ability (Spanish or other languages) is a plus
Compensation & Logistics
- Estimated base salary: $72,651 per year (estimated)
- Typical schedule: 44 hours/week; evenings and weekends may be required
- Location: Nashville, TN, US
