What You’ll Do

This accelerated, entry-level Management & Sales Training Program prepares you for a Store Management role (targeted progression in 18–24 months). In the program you will:

  • Complete formal, structured training consistent with the established development program
  • Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
  • Learn daily store operations, including finance, inventory, merchandising, and visual standards
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge
  • Build and maintain relationships with wholesale and retail customers, including large commercial buyers (e.g., contractors, purchasing agents, manufacturers)
  • Partner with store management to make outside sales calls to grow market share
  • Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
  • Complete store administration and maintain compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies
  • Respond to and resolve customer and employee concerns

Schedule & Compensation

  • Typical schedule: approximately 44 hours per week; may include evenings and weekends.
  • Estimated compensation: $125,338 per year (estimated by the original posting). Actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and other factors.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Must have at least a bachelor’s degree by the start of the development program
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • At least one (1) year of leadership experience (supervising or leading teams)
  • Experience working in team-oriented settings (work, extracurriculars, military service, etc.)
  • Previous experience selling paint or related products (helpful but not required)
  • Experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
  • Bilingual ability and/or proficiency in Spanish is a plus
