Overview
Confidential Client is recruiting for an accelerated Management & Sales Training Program based in Mansión de Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. This is an entry-level, full-time development program designed to prepare participants for store management roles within 18–24 months. The program combines classroom and on-the-job training focused on sales, operations, customer service, leadership, and outside/ commercial sales.
Typical schedule: approximately 44 hours per week; evenings and weekends may be required.
What You’ll Do
- Complete an 8-week initial training program and ongoing development milestones
- Support strategies to grow sales and optimize store profitability
- Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Build and maintain product knowledge to provide strong recommendations
- Develop relationships with wholesale and retail customers, including large commercial users
- Assist with store administration, merchandising, and maintaining store condition
- Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies
- Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
- Respond to and resolve customer and employee concerns professionally
- Partner with Store Manager on outside sales calls to expand market share
Note: this role may involve contact with minors and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal data, and merchandise. A criminal background check may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree (completed by the start of the program)
- Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- 1+ year experience in leadership, supervising others, or leading teams
- Experience working in team-oriented settings (employment, extracurricular, military)
- Prior experience selling paint or paint-related products (advantageous)
- Experience using timekeeping and/or CRM systems
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
- Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) or proficiency in multiple languages

Compensation & Schedule
