What You’ll Do

This accelerated, entry-level Management & Sales Training Program prepares you for a Store Management role (typical progression into Assistant Store Manager after initial training). Over 18–24 months you’ll learn store operations, customer service, sales, merchandising, finance and leadership while supporting a high-volume retail/wholesale location.

  • Support and complete the structured training curriculum
  • Learn and apply retail operations, merchandising, inventory, and loss-prevention procedures
  • Build and maintain product knowledge to make effective recommendations to customers
  • Drive outside and inside sales to grow market share (commercial accounts such as painting contractors, purchasing agents, and manufacturers)
  • Collaborate with store leadership to oversee store strategy and performance
  • Assist with employee training, development, performance management, and corrective actions
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and respond to customer/employee concerns
  • Maintain store condition, visual merchandising, and promotional displays
  • Complete store administration tasks and use timekeeping/CRM systems as required

Schedule & Compensation

  • Typical schedule: 44 hours per week (may include evenings and weekends)
  • Estimated pay (from source): $130,110 per year — this is an estimated figure and actual compensation will depend on experience, location, and other factors.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree by the start of the program
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve items from shelves/floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year retail, sales, or customer service experience
  • 1+ year leadership experience (supervising or leading teams)
  • Team-oriented experience (work, extracurriculars, military service, etc.)
  • Experience selling paint or paint-related products
  • Experience using timekeeping and/or CRM systems
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
  • Multilingual ability; Spanish is a plus
