What You’ll Do

This accelerated, entry-level Management & Sales Training Program prepares you to move into a Store Management role (typically within 18–24 months). You will train across store operations, professional sales, and leadership skills while supporting a multi-million-dollar retail business and building relationships with commercial and retail customers.

  • Complete the structured training program and initial 8-week training curriculum
  • Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain product knowledge to provide accurate recommendations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale and retail customers, including painting contractors and purchasing agents
  • Assist with store administration and daily operations
  • Maintain store condition, visual merchandising, and promotional displays
  • Support employee training and development; assist with performance management and corrective action
  • Partner with Store Manager on outside sales calls to grow market share
  • Respond to and resolve customer and employee concerns

Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

Minimum requirements — applicants must meet all of the following:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s degree completed by the start of the program
  • Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally

Preferred (helpful but not required):

  • 1+ year experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • 1+ year experience in leadership, supervising others, or leading teams
  • Experience working in team-oriented settings (work, extracurriculars, military)
  • Experience selling paint or paint-related products
  • Experience using timekeeping or customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
  • Bilingual ability (Spanish a plus)
