Overview

Confidential Client is hiring for an accelerated Management & Sales Training Program in Daytona Beach, FL. This entry-level, full-time program (typical schedule: 44 hours/week, may include evenings and weekends) is designed to prepare participants for a Store Management role within 18–24 months through structured classroom and on-the-job training, leadership development, and hands-on outside-sales experience.

Estimated compensation: $99,761 per year (estimated).


What You’ll Do

You will complete a formal training curriculum and work alongside store leadership to learn operations, merchandising, outside sales, and store financials. Key responsibilities include:

  • Complete training consistent with the established program
  • Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Build and maintain product knowledge to provide effective recommendations
  • Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers, including painting contractors and commercial buyers
  • Complete store administration and maintain inventory controls
  • Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
  • Respond to and resolve customer and employee concerns
  • Partner with the Store Manager on outside sales calls to increase market share

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Must have at least a bachelor’s degree by the start of this development program
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • 1+ year experience in leadership or supervising roles
  • Experience working in team-oriented settings (work, extracurriculars, military service, etc.)
  • Experience selling paint or paint-related products is a plus
  • Experience with timekeeping or CRM systems
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
  • Multilingual skills; Spanish language ability is a plus
