Overview

Confidential Client is hiring for an accelerated Management & Sales Training Program designed to prepare early-career professionals for store management and professional sales roles within Retail. This structured, full-time development program (typical schedule ~44 hours/week; evenings and weekends possible) helps you develop leadership, sales, operations, and customer-relationship skills over an 18–24 month progression—starting with an initial 8-week training and moving toward Assistant Store Manager responsibilities thereafter.

Confidential Client requires a criminal background check for positions with unsupervised access to cash, customer data, and company property to protect customers, employees, and the business.


What You’ll Do

  • Complete the structured training program and meet established milestones
  • Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain product knowledge to recommend solutions to customers
  • Develop relationships with wholesale and retail commercial customers
  • Assist with store administration, loss prevention, safety, and security procedures
  • Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards (promotions, displays)
  • Support employee training and development; provide feedback and corrective actions as needed
  • Respond to and help resolve customer and employee issues professionally
  • Partner with the Store Manager on outside sales calls to grow market share

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s degree completed by the start of the program
  • Ability to retrieve material from shelves/floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • 1+ year experience in a leadership role (supervising or leading teams)
  • Experience working in team-oriented settings (work, extracurriculars, or military)
  • Prior experience selling paint or paint-related products is a plus
  • Familiarity with timekeeping and/or CRM systems
  • Willingness to relocate for future career opportunities
  • Multilingual ability; Spanish language skills encouraged

Schedule & Compensation

  • Typical schedule: approximately 44 hours per week; may include evenings and weekends.
  • Estimated annual pay (source listing): $101,388 (estimated). Actual compensation and benefits will be confirmed by Confidential Client during the interview/offer process.
