Position overview

This accelerated, entry-level Management & Sales Training Program — Floorcovering prepares participants for a Floorcovering Facility Management or Sales Representative role within 18–24 months. The program combines paid classroom and on-the-job training (typical schedule: 44 hours/week, may include evenings/weekends), leadership development, and exposure to facility operations, commercial sales, installation techniques, and client relationships. Successful graduates will be placed into a Floorcovering Operations Manager or Floorcovering Field Technician role in Florida or Georgia.


What You’ll Do

  • Complete an 8–12 week structured training program covering operations, sales, installation basics, safety, and customer service
  • Assist facility leadership and regional management in overseeing multi-million-dollar operations
  • Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
  • Build and maintain knowledge of all floorcovering products to make effective customer recommendations
  • Partner with wholesale and retail customers and make outside sales calls to grow market share
  • Maintain facility condition, visual merchandising, and store administration tasks
  • Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety/loss-prevention procedures
  • Respond to and resolve customer or employee concerns professionally

Minimum requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s degree completed by the program start date
  • Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves/floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion

Preferred qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • Minimum 1 year experience in leadership roles or supervising others
  • Experience working in team-oriented settings (work, extracurriculars, military, etc.)
  • Previous experience selling floorcovering products or related materials
  • Experience with timekeeping and/or CRM systems
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
  • Bilingual ability, especially Spanish, is a plus

Compensation & schedule

  • Typical schedule: 44 hours per week (may include evenings and weekends)
  • Estimated pay (from source posting): $85,599 per year (estimated). Actual compensation will depend on experience, location, and other factors.
