Overview
Confidential Client is hiring for an accelerated Management & Sales Training Program based in Cincinnati, OH. This entry-level development program is designed to prepare participants for a Store Management role over 18–24 months, with an initial intensive training period and structured on-the-job learning.
Schedule: typically 44 hours per week; evenings and weekends may be required.
Compensation (est.): $91,645 per year (estimated).
What You’ll Do
- Complete the training curriculum and meet development milestones
- Collaborate with store management to support and oversee a high-volume retail location
- Learn and execute operations, merchandising, loss prevention, and store administration
- Sell to wholesale and large commercial customers (e.g., contractors, purchasing agents, manufacturers)
- Build product knowledge to provide effective customer recommendations
- Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards, including promotional displays
- Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
- Respond to and resolve customer and employee concerns professionally
- Partner with the Store Manager on outside sales calls to grow market share

Minimum Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree completed by the program start date
- Ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to retrieve items from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of retail, sales, or customer service experience
- 1+ year in a leadership role, supervising others or leading teams
- Experience in team-oriented settings (work, extracurriculars, military, etc.)
- Experience selling paint or paint-related products is a plus
- Experience with timekeeping or CRM systems
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
- Bilingual ability (Spanish a plus)
