What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a detail-oriented Management Consultant to support HQ IMCOM with real property asset management. The role focuses on validating real property records, assembling supporting documentation, and producing status reports for assigned garrisons and installation directorates.

  • Support physical inventory documentation and complete the Physical Inventory Minimum Data (PIMD) Worksheet.
  • Assemble Facility Information Folder contents according to the Supporting Documentation Checklist.
  • Perform data entry and quality checks on digitized records.
  • Review GFEBS records against supporting documentation and document discrepancies.
  • Update and correct GFEBS real property records (pooled space, rental objects, unit of measure, CATCODEs).
  • Prepare space assignment memoranda for RPAO approval.
  • Contribute to weekly validation reports and monthly status reports.
  • Communicate findings clearly in writing and coordinate with installation stakeholders as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical writing ability and strong attention to documentary detail.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field; OR a related certification (CPA, CDFM, CGFM, PMP). Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
  • Ability to obtain Common Access Card (requires favorably adjudicated NACI or higher) and register in the Army Account Verification System.
  • Comfortable working at the Unclassified level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Army or DoD real property inventory or audit-readiness support experience.
  • Coursework or internship experience in accounting, audit, or federal financial management for entry-level candidates.
  • GFEBS experience is a plus.

Location & Clearance

  • Worksite: Fort Jackson, South Carolina (Fort Jackson, SC).
  • Clearance: No security clearance required; work is performed at the Unclassified level. Requires favorably adjudicated NACI (or higher) for CAC issuance.
