Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Management Associate — Safety & Industrial Hygiene (IH) for an entry-level, rotational program based in Gary, IN. This 12–24 month program provides hands-on training across safety and IH functional areas, mentorship, and exposure to operational safety programs to prepare recent graduates for advanced safety roles.
What You’ll Do
- Administer and support the facility Safety program to help ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with accident and injury investigations and corrective action follow-up
- Integrate company and plant safety goals and objectives across the facility
- Support development and delivery of safety training and awareness programs
- Provide technical and compliance assistance to plant teams; help develop processes that improve safety performance
- Participate in possible rotational assignments within the Safety & IH organization
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Fire Protection, or related field
- Must have graduated from an accredited college/university within the last three years at time of hire
- Less than three years of professional work experience
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Prior internship or related practical experience is a plus

Compensation & Employment Type
- Salary range (good-faith estimate): $70,000 — $80,000 per year
