Position Overview

Confidential Client is hiring Management Associates for an 18-month Leadership Development Program (LDP). This entry-level rotational program includes three 6-month assignments across operations, engineering, information technology, and business functions within the New York service territory. The program emphasizes leadership development through hands-on assignments, at least one supervisory rotation, coaching, and formal presentations to senior leaders.


What You’ll Do

  • Participate in three 6-month rotational assignments to learn core operations and business functions across the New York service territory (NYC, Westchester, Rockland).
  • Lead and support projects and day-to-day activities that promote safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Analyze operational and business challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collect, evaluate, and interpret data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver project goals.
  • Complete supervisory assignment(s) — direct work activities and foster employee engagement and accountability.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to managers and senior leadership.
  • Complete required leadership, technical, and professional development training and apply learnings on the job.
  • Follow company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Be available for emergency response System Assignments and non-business hours (nights, weekends, holidays) as needed.
  • Travel within the company service territory and work rotating or night shifts if required.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed within the past two years) in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Physics-related), Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Management, Business Administration), Information Technology, Computer Science, Sustainability Management, Environmental Science, or closely related field.
  • Graduation date between January 2025 and June 2027 from an accredited bachelor’s or master’s program.
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Minimum one year of work experience (including cumulative internships/co-ops) OR six months of Confidential Client co-op/internship experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Driver’s license required.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in the fields listed above (within the past two years preferred).
  • Prior internship/co-op experience in relevant functions.
