Role Overview
Confidential Client (Engineering) is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Mechanical Engineer (Korean bilingual) to support EV battery manufacturing and development equipment. This hands-on role focuses on equipment reliability, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electromechanical systems, and supporting automation, robotics, inspection, and data-acquisition equipment.
What You’ll Do
You will work with engineering, production, and external vendors to keep manufacturing and lab equipment operating safely and efficiently.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and laboratory equipment
- Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electromechanical, and automation equipment issues
- Support automation equipment, industrial PCs, and related system infrastructure
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams and external vendors
- Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and corrective actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment uptime and reliability
- Ensure all work follows safety, quality, and environmental standards
What We’re Looking For
- Korean and English bilingual proficiency required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 0–5 years experience in manufacturing, automation, or equipment support (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and production processes
- Exposure to automation, industrial controls, or robotics is a plus
- Familiarity with Windows-based industrial systems and basic networking is helpful
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, or overtime as needed
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills; team-oriented mindset
