What You’ll Do

You will join a mechanical design team focused on custom machine and automation projects. This entry-level role pairs structured mentorship with hands-on CAD and mechanical design work.

• Design and detail custom machines, fixtures, and automation systems using engineering fundamentals and CAD tools.
• Size and specify mechanical components (gears, bearings, pumps, hydraulics, piping).
• Produce and review engineering drawings, BOMs, and bid specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to move concepts into fabrication and commissioning.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and apply feedback from senior engineers to improve designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks preferred; experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, Pro/E, or other 3D CAD platforms considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).

Preferred Experience

• Internship or co-op experience in machine design, automation, or material handling equipment.
• Exposure to robotics, servo systems, vision systems, or PLC-based controls.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience).
• Benefits typically include medical, dental, life insurance, paid vacation & holidays, 401(k) with company match, and annual performance bonuses.
