What You’ll Do

This Low Voltage Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support construction project teams on low-voltage electrical installations, document control, and subcontractor coordination. You will work closely with the Project Manager and field staff to help deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

  • Manage project documentation: submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, change orders, and drawing logs
  • Maintain and issue subcontractor contracts and job files
  • Prepare and assemble Owner and Maintenance Manuals; keep warranty logs current
  • Track and prepare price change orders, project reports, and required logs for construction meetings
  • Attend project and client meetings and provide project-management support
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain documentation and drawings
  • Assist field personnel with technical and administrative support
  • Help monitor contractor activities and project progress
  • Work with payroll and administrative teams to ensure accurate project payroll records

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and common methods
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Oracle experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under changing requirements
  • Clear oral and written communication skills and professional interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and effective as part of a team

What You Bring to Us

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction-related role (entry-level project management experience preferred)

Travel

  • Up to 25% travel to project sites as required

Working Conditions

  • Primarily performed on active construction sites; involves sitting, standing, walking, typing, lifting up to ~30 lbs
  • Typical indoor/outdoor construction environment with varying conditions; noise level low to medium
  • Position requires adherence to safety policies and the ability to work in a team on-site

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated salary (source listing): $74,839 per year (estimated)
