Position Overview

Confidential Client seeks an entry-level Logistics & Warehouse Support Specialist to provide warehouse and logistics support for a unit located at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. This role supports squadron training operations through equipment receipt, storage, inventory tracking, and property-accountability tasks performed in accordance with Air Force and contract procedures. The position is a great fit for candidates starting or advancing a career in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing equipment, supplies, and training materials.
  • Support inventory tracking and maintain accurate records in approved databases, spreadsheets, and logs.
  • Perform routine equipment inventories and help identify and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Prepare items for shipment, delivery, staging, or redistribution.
  • Coordinate with end-users for equipment pickup, issuance, and turn-in.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse spaces; follow all safety standards and procedures.
  • Assist with basic logistics documentation, filing, and property-accountability actions.
  • Support material-handling activities when trained and authorized.
  • Provide timely status updates to supervisors regarding inventory levels, material movement, and discrepancies.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Must Have)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or High School diploma/equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • General knowledge of logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or equipment handling.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment commonly handled in warehouse operations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required U.S. Government security clearances (Secret and TS/SCI as required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, supply, or material-handling environment.
  • Experience supporting military units or government property-accountability programs.
  • Familiarity with Air Force supply procedures, tracking systems, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience or ability to operate material-handling equipment beyond basic certification.

Training, Clearance & Onboarding Requirements

Within the first 6 months you must complete and demonstrate proficiency in:

  • Basic Safety & OSHA training (warehouse safety, hazard communication, PPE, equipment handling).
  • Forklift / material-handling equipment certification (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.).
  • Contract-specific property-management and compliance procedures.
  • Basic government procurement and receiving processes.
  • Information Security & OPSEC training and Cyber Awareness / DoD IA training.
  • Obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.

Within the first 12 months you must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance, as required by the contract.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion and maintenance of required security clearance(s).


Physical & Work Environment

  • Work requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for warehouse and equipment handling tasks.
  • Role combines warehouse and office tasks; expect routine lifting and movement of materials.
  • Must follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Anticipated salary range: $46,456.00 - $60,000.00 per year (good-faith estimate).
  • Additional estimated average: ~$58,505/year (estimated by job market data).
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k)/savings plan options, paid time off, tuition assistance, employee assistance programs, and other standard benefits offered by the client. Specific benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.
