What You’ll Do
Under general supervision, you will apply engineering and analytical expertise to solve operational problems, improve processes, and drive measurable value. You will work independently and collaboratively across teams to design and implement solutions that improve performance and efficiency.
- Design and implement operational solutions that improve throughput, cost, and service levels
- Analyze business and operational processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
- Solve complex problems using data analysis, modeling, and engineering principles
- Apply industrial engineering and operations research techniques (routing, scheduling, optimization)
- Build forecasting, predictive models, and perform linear programming analyses to support decisions
- Develop metrics and reporting (KPIs, dashboards) to measure impact and guide stakeholders
- Partner with internal teams and external customers to understand needs and deliver value
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Quantify and document project results, including cost savings and performance improvements
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in industrial engineering, operations research, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization tools, statistics, predictive modeling, forecasting, and relational databases and/or SQL
- Familiarity with operations research methods (routing, scheduling, optimization) and linear programming
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:
- Advanced coursework or practical experience in operations research, optimization, or applied statistics
- Experience translating analysis into operational recommendations and measurable business impact

Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base salary: $54,802 per year (estimated)
- This role may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives under the client’s bonus and incentive plans.
- Benefits for full-time employees may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, paid time off, parental leave, and paid holidays (subject to eligibility).
