What You’ll Do
This Logistics Data Analyst position (Westerville, OH) supports a confidential client’s transportation and supply chain operations by turning large logistics datasets into actionable insights and clear visualizations.
- Analyze transportation, freight, and supply chain datasets to identify trends, root causes, and optimization opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools to track KPIs (on-time delivery, transit times, cost per shipment, load utilization).
- Query and manage datasets with SQL; prepare clean data extracts and transform data for analysis.
- Partner with operations, carriers, and TMS teams to source data, validate assumptions, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Present findings and recommended actions to cross-functional stakeholders in clear, business-focused terms.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad-hoc analytics requests that improve routing, cost control, and service levels.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain analytics, or business analytics.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Proficiency writing SQL to analyze and join large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and present actionable insights.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work onsite in Westerville, OH as required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with freight, transportation, or supply chain analytics.
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Background in process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Spanish language skills a plus.
