Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Logistics Coordinator (Bilingual English/Korean) to support day-to-day transportation and carrier operations at their Ravenna, OH site. This role ensures on-time pickups and deliveries, communicates with carriers and internal teams, and helps resolve operational issues that affect the flow of goods. This position is eligible for visa sponsorship and work-authorization support.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries by coordinating with carriers and confirming arrival times.
• Track and monitor shipments; audit and research operational issues and provide visibility to management.
• Verify truck arrival against scheduled Pickup Appointment date and time; confirm vehicle location and ETA.
• Request and manage rescheduling or recovery plans for truck no-shows.
• Analyze shipment data to identify high-frequency no-show carriers and recommend corrective actions.
• Use TMS, Excel, Power BI (or similar tools) to maintain accurate records and reporting.
• Communicate clearly with global clients and carriers in both English and Korean as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize time-sensitive situations.
• Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Understanding of transportation processes and basic hazardous materials regulations and safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving, crisis-management, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn required management systems and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain (entry-level candidates are welcome).
• Fluency in Korean and English for effective communication with carriers and global clients.
• Hands-on experience with ISO tank and hazardous materials dispatching.
• Background working with 3PL logistics providers or carrier dispatch operations.

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated base salary: $67,233 per year (estimated)

• Employment type: Full-Time, Regular
