Job Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator (Bilingual: English/Korean) to join their Ravenna, OH operations team. This role supports day-to-day supply chain activities to ensure timely carrier arrivals, efficient shipping/receiving, and clear communication with carriers and internal stakeholders. This position is eligible for visa sponsorship and work authorization support.

Estimated base salary: $50,255 per year (estimated)

What You’ll Do

• Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries through clear communication and coordination with carriers.
• Track, monitor, audit, research, and resolve operational issues to provide visibility to management.
• Verify truck arrivals against scheduled pickup appointment dates and times; confirm vehicle location and expected arrival.
• Request and coordinate rescheduling or recovery plans for truck no-shows.
• Analyze shipment data to identify high-frequency no-show carriers and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with warehouse, inventory control, and customer service teams to maintain operational flow.
• Use TMS and other systems to log movements, exceptions, and resolutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize time-sensitive situations.
• Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), MS Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred.
• Solid understanding of transportation processes, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
• Strong problem-solving, crisis management, and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn and utilize company management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management; entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Fluency in both Korean and English to communicate effectively with global clients and carriers.
• Hands-on experience dispatching ISO tanks and handling hazardous materials shipments.
• Background in 3PL logistics or carrier dispatch operations.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials regulations and safety management standards.
