What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Logistics Assistant in Cypress, CA to support shipping, receiving and day-to-day warehouse logistics for an international food manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that combines customer communication, inventory maintenance, and coordination with carriers and drivers.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by coordinating logistics activities and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Answer calls and emails from customers, carriers, and internal teams
- Schedule deliveries and pickups and assist drivers during loading/unloading
- Receive shipments, inspect incoming goods, and update inventory and order systems
- Process invoices, bills of lading (BOLs), and other shipping documents
- Track deliveries and coordinate with carriers, brokers, and dispatchers on schedules
- Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned
Requirements
Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a strong plus
- Able to perform physical tasks required by warehouse operations and lift at least 30 lbs
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to prioritize multiple tasks
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $23.00 per hour

Schedule & Employment Type
- Employment type: Direct hire (FULL_TIME)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 07:00 a.m. – 04:00 p.m.
