What You’ll Do
This Logistics Analyst role focuses on converting logistics, transportation, and supply chain data into actionable business intelligence to support the Confidential Client’s operations and decision-making. You will turn raw operational data into dashboards, reports, and concise recommendations that improve shipment visibility, track network performance, analyze costs, and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze logistics, transportation, network, and cost data to support operational decision-making.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports that translate logistics data into clear business intelligence for management and operations.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft analytics tools (Excel, Power Query, Power BI), SharePoint Lists, Tableau, and Microsoft 365.
- Support the design, organization, and governance of structured data sources; contribute to data-lake efforts and understand Microsoft Fabric / OneLake concepts where applicable.
- Track shipment milestones, supplier activity, service performance, cost drivers, and exceptions to identify trends and gaps.
- Prepare executive-ready summaries that explain findings, business implications, and recommended actions.
- Collaborate with logistics, operations, finance, IT, and external partners to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and process visibility.
- Monitor schedules, exceptions, and performance metrics and provide analytics support to execution teams when needed.
- Assist with KPI tracking, supplier evaluations, contract performance monitoring, and data-driven process improvement initiatives.
Who You Are / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- Entry-level to 2 years’ experience in analytics, logistics, supply chain, business intelligence, transportation, or closely related projects; internship or project experience accepted.
- Proficiency using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and/or Tableau to analyze data and create reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Lists and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
- Understanding of data modeling, data quality practices, KPI development, and data visualization best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Basic working knowledge of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or maritime operations preferred.

- Practical experience with Power BI report governance, scheduled refreshes, and performance optimization.
