What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Loan Asset Management Analyst to join the Investment Management team in Kennett Square, PA. In this role you will help translate complex commercial real estate (CRE) loan documentation into structured data, support portfolio monitoring, and contribute to client-facing analytics and deliverables.

  • Review commercial real estate loan agreements and related financing documents to extract and validate key loan terms and obligations.
  • Build and maintain loan models and structured records within proprietary technology platforms.
  • Monitor portfolio activity — loan draws, repayments, refinancings, amendments, covenant changes — and surface upcoming events.
  • Prepare and support client reports, dashboards, and portfolio analytics that highlight financing metrics and risks.
  • Perform quality-control reviews to ensure loan data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support senior advisors in client meetings and deliverables; escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Collaborate with advisory, valuation, and technology teams to improve processes and client solutions.

What Success Looks Like in the First Year

Month 3

  • You understand common CRE loan structures, can independently model straightforward loans, and consistently deliver accurate work.

Month 6

  • You meaningfully contribute to client deliverables, spot documentation inconsistencies, and begin participating in client discussions.

Month 12

  • You support parts of client portfolios independently, are recognized as a dependable team member, and are prepared to progress toward an Associate role.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Real Estate, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred

  • Internship or coursework in finance, commercial real estate, accounting, banking, or investments.
  • Exposure to financial modeling or data analysis.
  • Interest in commercial real estate debt, capital markets, or institutional investing.
