Role Overview
The Confidential Client is seeking a motivated Life Skills Coach to support adult learners with autism and other developmental disabilities in Warminster, PA. This full-time position uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to deliver individualized life-skills instruction, collect and analyze progress data, and contribute to Individual Support Plan (ISP) development.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Implement individualized programming for adult learners using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and positive behavior supports.
- Provide instruction across life-skills domains (daily living, community access, social skills, vocational routines).
- Collect, graph, and analyze program data daily; write accurate progress notes.
- Participate in ISP meetings and coordinate with the Director of Adult Life Skills and other agencies as appropriate.
- Prepare materials and implement motivational systems and behavior support procedures.
- Provide daily transportation of adult learners to scheduled activities (personal vehicle required).
- Attend monthly supervision, staff meetings, and relevant trainings.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year experience providing services to adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
- At least one year experience using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Entry-level candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Requirements (State-specific checks for Pennsylvania)
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, current automobile insurance, and current vehicle registration.
- PA State Police, FBI, and PA Child Abuse clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to be on feet and active throughout the day.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional work ethic.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (as posted).
