What You’ll Do

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) ensures products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule. As a Life Cycle Engineer I (Onsite) you will be part of an engineering design team supporting programs from conception through deactivation. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders including program leaders and customers to perform analyses, investigate failures, and improve system reliability and supportability.

• Perform Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses — MTBF, MTTR, RAM modeling
• Conduct Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
• Assess production and field failures; lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities
• Support Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) tasks, analyze failure trends and data
• Develop and maintain supportability analyses, provisioning data, and parts lists
• Collaborate with Chief Engineers, Program Directors, and Program Managers on design and sustainment solutions
• Apply logistics and supportability principles to program-level planning
• Contribute to proposal development and Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline completed by the start date
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
• Demonstrated analytical ability through coursework, projects, internships, or on-the-job experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across disciplines

Qualifications We Prefer

• Internship, co-op, or project team experience in an engineering environment
• Familiarity with Technical Data Packages (drawings, parts lists, electrical schematics) and experience generating/interpreting parts lists
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation
• Prior exposure to RAM/FMECA, FRACAS, and supportability analyses

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (good-faith estimate): USD 57,200 — 108,800 per year

• Eligible employees may participate in annual incentive programs where applicable (not guaranteed)

• Location: Tewksbury, MA (Onsite role)
• Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret-level security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required to hold the clearance.
