What You’ll Do

Confidential client is hiring an entry-level Life, Annuity, and Service Specialist to provide excellent customer service for life, annuity, and health products. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ and supports members by resolving service requests, processing policy changes, and identifying member needs.

  • Acquire and apply foundational knowledge of life insurance, health insurance, and annuity products to assist members across channels.
  • Ask targeted questions to understand members’ requests, document relevant information, and capture life-event details.
  • Use available tools to process transactions accurately and compliantly, minimizing transfers, escalations, and callbacks.
  • Recognize cues and recommend additional products or services when appropriate; use basic sales techniques to overcome objections.
  • Follow risk, compliance, and quality policies to ensure activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Up to 1 year of relevant customer service or sales experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task across multiple business applications (Windows OS familiarity preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Willingness to complete a job-related assessment, if required.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.

Preferred / What Sets You Apart

  • At least 6 months of life insurance and/or annuity service experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, General Business, or related field.
  • Current Group 1 Life/Health license.
  • 2+ years of customer contact experience in a call center environment where multi-tasking is required.
  • Experience cross-selling or upselling financial products.
  • U.S. military service, or spouse/domestic partner of active-duty military.

Work Model, Location & Logistics

  • This is a full-time, on-site role at the Phoenix, AZ campus with the expectation to be in the office 5 days per week. There may be an opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule consistent with business needs and applicable policy.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $43,680.00 - $59,980.00 per year (range provided by the confidential client).
  • Eligible employees may receive pay incentives subject to performance and board approval.
