Work Environment

This is an onsite role based in a well-equipped rehabilitation center in Cypress Gardens, FL. You will have access to therapeutic equipment and technology used for a wide range of outpatient treatments, and you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a professional, collegial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Apply manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and exercise-based protocols to improve functional mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education on home exercises, self-care, and the safe use of assistive devices.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of clinical notes and treatment sessions.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with other clinicians and providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will treat a diverse patient population, including pediatric clients with developmental needs, adults recovering from injury or surgery, and older adults managing chronic conditions. Therapies will be tailored to individual goals and functional needs.

Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (or the degree required by the state) from an accredited program.
• Current, active Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Professional flexibility and adaptability to meet varied patient needs.
