Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Licensed Financial Advisor to join their Accounting & Finance team in Surfside, SC. This role helps clients build and protect wealth through personalized financial planning, insurance, investment advice, and retirement strategies. Candidates will receive training and mentoring and may be expected to pursue required licenses if not already held.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand financial goals and risk tolerance
• Deliver personalized financial planning and investment recommendations tailored to each client
• Analyze financial data and market trends to design wealth-management strategies
• Educate clients on insurance products, investment options, and retirement planning
• Maintain documentation and compliance standards for client accounts
• Continuously expand technical knowledge through training and professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and client-focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications preferred (Life & Health license, Series 7, Series 66) or willingness to obtain them

• Previous experience in sales, financial advising, or customer service
• Familiarity with financial planning software and CRM systems

Compensation & Pay Transparency

This role is performance-based. Compensation packages are based on experience for licensed advisors. Entry-level roles are commission-based; first-year earnings are typically in the range of $78,000 to $150,000 per year. The position also lists an estimated annual salary midpoint of approximately $100,376 (estimate only). Exact compensation and commission structure will be discussed during the hiring process and will comply with applicable state pay-transparency laws.
