Position overview

Confidential Client — a Healthcare & Nursing organization — is seeking a Licensed Dietitian (PRN) to provide clinical nutrition services to patients and residents in North Corners, GA. This PRN (as‑needed) role focuses on nutrition assessment, individualized diet planning, patient education, and collaboration with the care team to support quality care and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Provide clinical nutrition services including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, nutrition intervention and self‑management training.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans and medical nutrition therapy.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers on therapeutic diets, portion control and nutrition-related self‑management.
• Monitor and document patient progress; update care plans and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure documentation meets facility, regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Participate in quality improvement, nutrition-related audits and menu reviews as requested.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to Confidential Client policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing nutrition assessments and reassessments.
• Formulate and adjust therapeutic diets and feeding plans.
• Provide counseling and practical education to support patient adherence.
• Coordinate with nursing, physicians and ancillary staff to optimize nutrition care.
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and complete required paperwork.
• Support patient satisfaction and positive public relations through professional interactions.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD).
• Current, active licensure to practice as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia upon hire.
• Ability to work PRN (as‑needed) shifts and meet scheduling requirements.
• Demonstrated professionalism, strong communication skills, and reliable documentation practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in clinical dietetics or related healthcare setting (entry‑level candidates with supervised experience may be considered).
• Experience with medical nutrition therapy for acute care or long‑term care populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) for nutrition documentation.

Compensation & Location

• Location: North Corners, GA (work performed for Confidential Client)
• Estimated pay: $64,450 per year (estimated). Actual compensation may vary based on experience and shift assignment.
• Employment type: FULL_TIME (per source posting). Schedule: PRN / as‑needed assignments.
