Position Overview
Confidential Client, a legal practice focused on collection of unpaid real estate taxes and municipal utility fees and representing municipal clients throughout Pennsylvania, is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant for a hybrid role based in King of Prussia, PA. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to build a legal career supporting attorneys and account managers on high-volume pleadings, filings, and client communications.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and review case files to determine appropriate next steps.
- Prepare pleadings for attorney review and signature; perform electronic and/or traditional filing.
- Respond to property owner inquiries and negotiate payment terms by phone.
- Draft correspondence to property owners and third parties as assigned.
- Research property ownership and courthouse records as necessary.
- Assist courthouse visits and answer courthouse personnel questions as assigned.
- Collaborate with attorneys and account managers on team-driven workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited university — OR 1–3 years of paralegal, secretarial, or customer-service experience in collections and/or real estate law if degree is not held.
- Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and comfortable with online research tools.
- Organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities under urgency.
- Dependable, professional, and able to handle confidential or sensitive matters with tact.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed and to spend required hours in the King of Prussia office during the hybrid schedule.
- Ability to work well as part of a diverse team.

Location & Schedule
- Primary location: King of Prussia, PA (hybrid). Specific in-office hours are required at the King of Prussia office; telework options available after successful completion of a probationary period.
- Office is accessible to Routes 76 and 202 and near the Norristown High Speed Line (Hughes Station).
