What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Legal Assistant role ideal for a well-organized, team-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within a legal practice focused on creditors’ rights and real estate matters.
- Assist in drafting, formatting, and compiling legal documents and correspondence.
- Update internal case-management systems with accurate case information and status updates.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional handling of sensitive client and case data.
- Support compliance efforts with applicable local, state, and federal requirements related to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to meet deadlines and support case workflow.
Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Compensation & Location
- Pay range: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (Hunt Valley, MD).
- This role is based in Hunt Valley, Maryland (21031). Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
